Exploring History,
Preserving Community
Take a self guided peek into some of Yamhill County’s most treasured architectural gems while supporting a cause that changes the lives of vulnerable children in our community. The Solid Foundations Tour is an annual fundraiser for Yamhill County CASA that celebrates the diverse and remarkable architecture that makes our communities truly unique.
Creating a solid foundation in a child’s life lies at the heart of CASA’s mission. Through advocacy, trained volunteers stand beside children who have experienced abuse and neglect, ensuring they have a consistent voice and caring adult in their corner.
In 2025, the inaugural Solid Foundations Tour featured six remarkable properties in McMinnville, showcasing everything from mid century design to historic academic halls. The response was inspiring and confirmed that our community cares deeply about both preservation and child advocacy.
In 2026, the tour heads to Newberg. This year’s curated collection of homes and properties will highlight the craftsmanship, character, and stories that shape Newberg’s sense of place.
